Established in 1968 , and still a family owned business, with headquarters in Diksmuide (Belgium), Fertira specializes in the manufacturing of organic and organic-mineral fertilisers and soil improvers for over more than 40 years now. This knowledge is offered by Fertira towards his customers trough Europe and beyond.

C02 neutral production & products …
Fertira use green energy to produce CO2-neutral fertilisers and soil improvers.
Therefore we use the energy provided from solar-panels. With this initiative we decrease the CO2-emission in the atmosphere and help to keep a clean and healthy environment.

Storage capacity and logistics
With a yearly production of 15000 tons organic fertiliser and organic- mineral products, Fertira becomes a fully-fledged player on the European market for concentrated premium quality organic fertilisers. The total capacity of about 6000 palet spaces forms a buffer stock between Fertira and its customers which makes the delivery considerably shorter and more efficiënt. This storage plant, will serve as a logistical bridgehead between Fertira and its customers. Quality certification(s) for products with great added value…
For a large number in our product range, we received the BLIK (TüV-Nord) - warranty label (Organic Agriculture- Inspection and Supervision) . With obtaining this certificate, Fertira can offer his customers the guarantee that the products with this label are really authorized for organic gardening/agriculture in accordance with the EC regulations 834/2007 a 229/2008. BLIK (TüV-Nord) is an independent organization, which execute inspections on different parameters, who are needed to obtain and to preserve this certificate. The equivalents of BLIK (TüV-Nord) are Soil association (UK), KRAV (S), SKAL (NL) Ecocert (F) , IOGFA (IRL) & SATIVA (P).
The use of animal raw materials in the Fertira fertilizers that are manufactured are In full accordance with the hygienic requirements (1774/2002) of the EC-regulation.
